Le 20 juin, Barbara Zangerl et Jacopo Larcher signent la première ascension libre de Next Generation (170 m, 8b+) sur la face ouest du Zwölferkopf, dans le Rätikon autrichien. Cette grande voie ouverte en 2018 restait inachevée, son crux 8b+ n’ayant jamais été libéré jusqu’à ce jour.
